Hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber type Haux-Starmed 2200/5.5 Compact,
capacity: 8 + 2 persons (stationary pressure chamber consisting of main and
ante chamber).
The project, in addition to the supply and installation of the new cabin as well
as the equipment of the engine room for the supply of the cabin with air, also
included the dismantling and transfer, in a special museum space in the port
of Kalymnos, of the pre-existing construction booth of Drass Galeazzi.
The chamber is used both to provide hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients
and to treat diving accidents as it is equipped with a flange according to the
DIN / STANAG (NATO) standard.
